Sun in a bottle

These days the colleagues-scientists in Canada are trying to spread widely the information how important this is for everybody to take vitamin D during the winter. Vitamin D is normally synthesised when one is exposed on the sun. However during the winter, especially in Canada and other northern countries the sun does not appear quite often. This is why it is very important to take additional vitamin D. As they said "a little bit of sun in a bottle" could help for a vast number of problems – from tiredness to cancer... So next time when you pass by a pharmacy buy vitamin D (usually comes together with calcium for strong bones). I will certainly do it. Today we officially have got the first snow in Calgary. Congratulations!
